Job Summary:
We are seeking a Fuel Transport Scheduler to join our team who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is driven to improve operational efficiency. This role plays a key part in coordinating our fleet operations to ensure safe, reliable, and timely fuel deliveries across our network.
The ideal candidate will have a dynamic and positive personality, excellent communication and organisational skills and a high degree of commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Daily monitoring of customer and WA Fuel tank levels (tank dips)
Planning and scheduling drivers, trucks, and delivery runs (daily and weekly)
Coordinating orders through scheduling systems to maximise fleet utilisation
Developing load plans to ensure compliance with legal weight limits and optimum payloads
Communicating effectively with drivers, customers, and the sales team regarding delivery requirements
Ensuring fatigue management compliance and maintaining accurate records
Preparing Journey Management Plans for safe and efficient operations
Liaising with the workshop to coordinate servicing and fleet availability
Managing driver inductions for terminals and customer sites
Promoting a strong safety culture, reporting hazards, incidents, and near misses
Participating in after-hours and weekend coverage as required
Skills and Experience:
2–3 years’ experience in transport or logistics scheduling
Fuel industry experience highly regarded, but not essentia
Strong knowledge of:
Road Transport compliance
WA Heavy Vehicle Accreditation
Chain of Responsibility (CoR)
Fatigue Management
Dangerous Goods regulations
A safety-focused mindset with strong compliance awareness
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
A professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
Solid Microsoft Office skills
