We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our busy and patient-focused general practice team. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to delivering high-quality care, embraces innovation, and thrives in a dynamic clinical environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine dedication to patient wellbeing, combined with the ability to work efficiently and reliably within a structured general practice setting. You will be confident in managing treatment room responsibilities while contributing to the smooth and financially sustainable operation of the practice.

About You
  • A patient-centred clinician who consistently delivers safe, high-quality care
  • Adaptable and tech-savvy, with a willingness to quickly learn and utilise evolving clinical software and digital systems
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledgeable of the operational and financial aspects of general practice nursing, particularly relating to treatment room efficiency, billing, and resource utilisation
  • A proactive team player who contributes positively to both clinical outcomes and practice culture
Essential Requirements
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • At least 2 years experience in a General Practice setting
  • Proficient at Best Practice Software
  • Accredited Immunisation Provider
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care within the treatment room, including wound care, immunisations, health assessments, and chronic disease management
  • Assist GPs with minor procedures and patient education.
  • Conduct triage and manage patient flow to ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with RACGP standards.
  • Develop and maintain practice policies and procedures including infection control, cold chain management, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support efficient workflows within the practice, ensuring optimal use of resources and appointment structures
