Westworks Consultancy is growing! We’re looking for two passionate individuals to join our team in Oldbury - one Consulting Arborist and one Trainee Consulting Arborist. Whether you’re experienced in the consulting space or just starting out with a strong foundation in arboriculture, we want to hear from you. Position Starting January 2026!
Position 1: Consulting Arborist
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct tree risk assessments, retention plans, and development reports
Provide expert advice to clients, contractors, and local government
Prepare practical, high-quality reports aligned with industry standards
Work across residential, commercial, and local government projects
Requirements:
Minimum AQF Level 5 in Arboriculture or Horticulture
QTRA qualification (required)
Experience in arboricultural consulting and report writing
Excellent communication and client liaison skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Position 2: Trainee Consulting Arborist
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in tree assessments and consulting fieldwork
Support preparation of arboricultural reports and documentation
Shadow senior consultants to build knowledge in consulting practices
Grow into a full consulting role with training and support
Requirements:
Minimum Cert III in Arboriculture or Horticulture
QTRA qualification (preferred but not essential)
Strong interest in arboricultural consulting
Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
Some climbing or field experience advantageous but not required
