Claims Manager

We currently have an excellent opportunity available to drive the success of the Europcar business by managing the overall leadership, management and performance of the vehicle damage and insurance claims portfolio across the Rental Operations. Reporting to the General Manager Rental, this is a pivotal role within the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all vehicle damage claims, recoveries, insurance matters and repair processes are managed effectively, efficiently and accurately, while maintaining exceptional customer and client service standards.

Motivated and driven, your demonstrated experience in customer service and a proven track record in leadership will ensure you are able to hit the ground running in this fast-paced role. Exceptional time management skills coupled with your passion for customer and client satisfaction will support your success in this 'hands on' role.

The successful candidate will be required to;

  • Lead and manage the vehicle damage and insurance claims portfolio

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the claims administration, reporting and recovery processes

  • Lead and manager the claims support functions

  • Support operational and financial outcomes through effective claims strategy and management

  • Maintain strong relationships with insurers, brokers, repairers, assessors and legal representatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Experience in senior claims management or insurance claims roles would be viewed favourably

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively

  • Proven accountability for high customer and client service satisfaction

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical to include a drug and alcohol test.
