Project Lighting Sales Specialist

Our client is a well-established WA lighting business with over 30 years of success delivering innovative lighting solutions across commercial, and industrial projects.

With an enviable reputation in the market and exclusive partnerships with a portfolio of premium lighting brands, they are continuing to grow and are now looking to appoint a Project Lighting Sales Specialist to join their Perth team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and seeing projects through from concept to completion.

The Opportunity

Working closely with consultants, contractors, wholesalers, architects, designers and end users, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, increasing product specifications and converting project opportunities across a diverse range of sectors.

Projects include:

  • Commercial developments
  • Industrial facilities
  • Street and public realm lighting
  • Education projects
  • Healthcare facilities
  • Mining camps and infrastructure projects
  • Government and public sector developments

You will be supported by an experienced internal team including project coordinators, designers and technical specialists, allowing you to focus on building relationships and growing your project pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships across the electrical and construction sectors
  • Identify and secure new project opportunities
  • Increase product specifications with consultants and key stakeholders
  • Manage projects from enquiry through to completion
  • Prepare and present lighting solutions to clients
  • Negotiate and close commercial opportunities
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and forecast activity
  • Attend client meetings, site visits and industry events

About You

We are interested in speaking with candidates from a variety of backgrounds including:

  • Lighting Sales
  • Specification Sales
  • Electrical Wholesale (Projects)
  • Project Sales - Commercial Construction

You will bring:

  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • A proactive business development mindset
  • Experience managing project-based sales cycles
  • The ability to engage with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • A self-motivated and autonomous approach

Previous lighting experience would be advantageous, however candidates with strong electrical, technical or project sales experience are encouraged to apply.
