About the area
This position will support research within the Terrestrial Ecosystem Research Network (TERN) at UWA. TERN is a national network funded by the Australian Government’s National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS), with activities in WA co-funded by the Government of Western Australia. TERN’s vision is to ‘continuously grow long-term national-scale Australian terrestrial ecosystem data used globally’. The project includes a diverse team of researchers, project staff, and industry collaborators to deliver world-class research infrastructure to monitor and understand changes to our environment and climate and enable predictions of future risks.
TERN is housed within the UWA School of Agriculture and Environment. This role also supports the Critical Zone Observatory (CZO), a key component of TERN’s Australian Environmental Observatory. The WA node of TERN is responsible for representing, operating, and translating activities of the CZO and associated monitoring infrastructure with respect to inputs and outputs of relevance to Western Australia.

About you

Current Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) training, First Aid/CPR, or willingness to attain certifications is also a requirement of this position.
