Salary range:
$172,356 + superannuation + regional allowance if based regionally.
The Role
Southern Ports is recruiting a Senior Manager Risk, Quality and Compliance to join their team in Perth or Bunbury. Reporting to the Company Secretary the Senior Manager Risk, Quality and Compliance will be responsible for developing and coordinating strategies across risk, quality, and compliance, ensuring alignment with Southern Ports’ vision and values. The role brings together systems by understanding hazards from a critical infrastructure perspective and working across multiple functions, quality and accreditations to bring these systems together.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Lead the development, implementation, and on-going management of an all hazards approach to risk management
· Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of SPA’s compliance frameworks and policies.
· Ensure ongoing accreditation, effective management, and continuous improvement of SPA’s accredited quality management systems, including appropriate reporting.
· Manage the coordination of the audit function, reporting to the CEO and the Audit, Finance and Risk Committee.
Required
· Relevant tertiary qualification (law, business, finance, engineering or equivalent applicable qualification)
· In-depth experience developing, implementing, and managing contemporary Risk, Quality and Compliance frameworks
· Significant experience in developing governance and risk processes including lines of defence assurance models
· Working knowledge of Critical Infrastructure, cyber or all hazards approach to risk, and experience of government and industry standards in relation to ethics, fraud, bribery, and corruption control.
Preferred
· Demonstrated experience of port and maritime operations, related supply-chain dynamics, and infrastructure lifecycle management
