Cloud & Custom Applications (CCA) combine design and technology with modern delivery methodologies to deliver experience oriented, scalable, sustainable and secure enterprise solutions. Let's talk about the role and responsibilities

We are seeking Business Analysts at Junior, Intermediate, and Senior levels to join our team supporting a major mining and resources client.

This is not a traditional "requirements-only" BA role. You will play a key part in uncovering business problems, identifying root causes, and shaping practical, outcome-focused solutions. You'll work closely with stakeholders and collaborate across multiple service lines to design and enable solutions that deliver real operational value.

The role operates in an Agile delivery environment, so experience working in Agile teams is essential.

Key responsiblities

  • Lead discovery activities to understand business challenges, pain points, and opportunities
  • Elicit, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions to define current and future states
  • Translate business problems into clear solution options, engaging internal teams to help design and deliver outcomes
  • Produce high-quality artefacts including user stories, process flows, data definitions, and traceability matrices
  • Act as a bridge between business and delivery teams, ensuring shared understanding
  • Support solution design, development, and testing, including UAT and impact assessments
  • Manage and track requirements through their lifecycle, ensuring governance and quality standards are metIdentify and escalate risks, gaps, and ambiguities in requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and better ways of working

Your experience

  • Experience as a Business Analyst in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or similar)
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify root causes and shape solutions
  • Proven ability to engage stakeholders and run workshops
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable outcomes
  • Experience creating structured analysis artefacts and documentation
  • Ideally experience in mining, resources, energy, or heavy industry
  • Exposure to operational environments, or technology implementations
  • Experience working across multi-disciplinary teams or consulting environments
