We are looking for a skilled and motivated Computer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining computer systems, both hardware and software. This role requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and other computer systems.

  • Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems, software applications, and drivers.

  • Perform routine maintenance, including system updates, virus removal, and data backups.

  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and assist with setting up routers, modems, and other networking equipment.

  • Provide technical support to customers, both remotely and on-site, explaining solutions in a clear and professional manner.

  • Replace or upgrade computer components such as hard drives, RAM, motherboards, and power supplies.

  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job.

  • Travel to customer locations to perform on-site repairs and installations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Computer Technician or in a similar IT support role.

  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).

  • Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Must have a valid Australian work visa and be legally eligible to work in Australia.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle for travel to job sites.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, or similar) are highly desirable.
