Discovery at Play Early Learning Centres is seeking a creative and organised Marketing Assistant to support our marketing activities across multiple services in Western Australia.
This diverse role combines social media management, digital marketing, website updates, content creation, graphic design and community engagement. You'll work closely with Centre Directors to deliver marketing campaigns that connect with local families and support enrolment growth.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content
Create engaging Tik Tok, Facebook, Instagram, Stories and Reels content
Design graphics and promotional materials using Canva
Plan, schedule and manage content calendars
Monitor and respond to social media engagement
Digital Marketing
Manage Meta Business Manager and Meta Ads campaigns
Create and optimise Google Ads campaigns
Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports
Website & SEO
Update and maintain WordPress websites
Publish website content and blogs
Implement SEO improvements and monitor website performance
Design & Community Marketing
Design flyers, posters, brochures, signage and promotional materials
Support local community marketing initiatives and events
Work collaboratively with Centre Directors to execute marketing plans
Administration
Monitor enquiries and communication channels
Assist with tour scheduling and follow-up processes
Support occupancy reporting and data entry
About You
Essential Experience
Canva and graphic design
WordPress website management
Minimum 6-12 months of experience in WordPress website management
Meta Business Manager and Meta Ads
Minimum 6-12 months of experience in Meta Business Manager and Meta Ads
Facebook and Instagram content creation and scheduling
Google Ads campaign management
Minimum 6-12 months of experience in Google Ads campaign management
Content creation, copywriting and scheduling
Community-based marketing experience
Strong organisational, communication and time management skills
Microsoft Office proficiency
Experience in education, childcare, community services or a family-focused industry
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Willingness to travel between Discovery at Play service locations and attend community events as required
Desirable
Marketing, Communications or Digital Media qualification
SEO and Google Search Console knowledge
Photography and video editing skills
Experience with OWNA childcare software
Highly desirable Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) industry
