The Opportunity
This is a pure candidate desk — no client sales, no cold calling companies, no business development pressure. Your world is candidates. Your mission is simple: make sure our team always has a work-ready, fully compliant pool of talent to draw from.

You’ll work closely with a small, high-performing team where your contribution is visible, valued, and directly tied to the success of the business.

What You’ll Do

• Source and attract candidates using SEEK, Linkedin, referrals, and direct networking methods.

• Screen candidates and conduct initial skills, experience and availability assessments.

• Build and maintain a strong talent pool organised by trade, license, and availability.

• Conduct regular candidate care check-ins so the pool is never stale.

• Proactively network and market standout candidates before a vacancy is confirmed.

• Keep candidates engaged and committed to KMG between placements — you’re their go-to person throughout their time with us.

What You Bring

• Strong communication and networking skills.

• A proactive mindset — you build the pool before the phone rings, not in response to it.

• Natural ability to build rapport quickly with tradespeople and labourers; warm, direct, and credible.

• Proven experience in recruitment and labour hire — trades or construction experience is ideal but not essential. Your interpersonal and networking skills are most valued.

• High attention to detail but well organised.

• Jobadder experience is highly regarded.

• Full driver’s licence and own transport.
