Executive Recruitment Consultant

Counsel Connect is growing.

Having established ourselves as one of Western Australia's most trusted providers of legal secondments, legal recruitment and executive search, we are now looking for an experienced Executive Recruiter to help drive the continued growth of our Executive Connect division.

This is not a role for someone who simply manages existing vacancies. We are looking for a commercially minded, relationship-focused recruiter who can build trusted relationships, generate new opportunities and become a recognised adviser to senior leaders across the WA market.

About the Role

Working closely with our Managing Director, you will play a key role in growing our executive search and recruitment offering across Western Australia.

You will be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with Boards, CEOs, Managing Directors and Executive Leadership Teams

• Generating new business opportunities and developing your own client portfolio

• Managing executive search assignments from brief through to placement

• Identifying and engaging exceptional executive and senior leadership talent

• Providing market intelligence and strategic hiring advice to clients

• Representing Counsel Connect across industry events and professional networks

• Contributing to the ongoing growth and direction of the Executive Connect business

About You

You are an experienced recruiter, executive search professional or senior business development specialist with strong commercial acumen and an established WA network.

Ideally, you will bring:

• A strong network across the WA market

• Existing relationships within the energy & resources, utilities, construction, infrastructure and/or not-for-profit sectors

• Proven ability to generate new business and win retained or exclusive search assignments

• Confident engaging with Boards, CEOs, C-suite executives and senior decision-makers

• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills

• A consultative and professional approach

• A reputation for integrity, discretion and delivering exceptional outcomes
