Medical Secretary

An opportunity is available for an experienced Medical Secretary to join the private practice of Mr Siamak Seresti in West Perth.

This role is suited to someone who is highly organised, proactive and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a busy specialist practice.

The position is for 2 days per week, Wednesday and Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, with flexibility to assist with sick leave and annual leave coverage when required. 3 days per week available if needed.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a variety of medical administration duties including:

• Answering phone calls and patient enquiries

• Running busy specialist clinics

• Coordinating theatre bookings

• Managing referrals and incoming correspondence via email, fax and HealthLink

• Liaising with hospitals, GPs, allied health providers and patients

• Appointment scheduling and diary management

• General reception and administrative duties

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Medical Secretary

• Previous experience within a specialist medical practice or Orthopaedic Surgeon preferred

• Experience using GENTU software or similar highly regarded

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
