TrialsWest is one of Australia's most experienced and successful clinical research companies. We collaborate with the world's leading pharmaceutical companies to bring new medicines and vaccines to life. We have established operations in Spearwood and Osborne Park, and our newest site in Mandurah.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Clinical Trial Manager for our Osborne Park clinic. In this pivotal role, you will:
Lead and support a small team of clinical trial professionals.
Ensure studies are conducted according to ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, Sponsor protocols and Company SOPs.
Co-ordinate and manage all aspects of clinical trial operations from trial Start-up through to Close-out
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day operations across the clinic.
Monitor trial progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues as they arise.
Provide training and support to clinical trial staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively perform their roles.
Undertake trial co-ordination activities, including the management and performance of participant visits.
Manage the effective set-up of new trials and the recruitment of study participants.
Build strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years' experience in managing pharmaceutical company-sponsored clinical trials, coupled with a tertiary qualification in nursing, health science or biological sciences.
Candidates must have unrestricted Australian work rights for this position.
To succeed in this role, we believe it will require:
At least 1 year of previous experience leading a team in a clinical trial setting.
Exceptional verbal and written English language communication skills.
Experience with venepuncture, processing blood samples, recording ECGs and using a variety of ePROs and eCRFs.
Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, ALCOA principles, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines and their application in clinical research.
Meticulous attention to detail.
