Medical Receptionist

Reynolds Road Medical Centre is a long-established, privately owned general practice located in Mount Pleasant. Our practice has proudly served the local community for over 25 years and is committed to delivering accessible, high-quality healthcare in a welcoming and supportive environment.

We are a busy GP practice supported by a range of integrated health services and specialty sub-clinics.

We are currently seeking a Mature, reliable, and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team as a casual.

You will work closely with our doctors and clinical team to ensure the smooth and professional day-to-day operation of the clinic.

Reception staff provide a high standard of customer service and administrative support to both patients and doctors.

Availability:

Shifts are rostered Monday through to Sunday, including evenings and weekends as required.

Immediate Start.

• Greeting and assisting patients in a professional and friendly manner

• Managing a high volume of patient phone enquiries

• Booking appointments and accurately entering patient data

• Booking care plans, health assessments, and related appointments

• Generating invoices and processing payments

• Processing Medicare claims

• Maintaining doctors’ appointment schedules

• Responding to and actioning doctors’ requests promptly

• General administrative and reception duties as required

• Previous medical reception experience is essential

• Understanding of Medicare item numbers

• Experience with Best Practice and Tyro is advantageous but not essential

• Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic

• Ability to multi-task and work independently in a busy environment

• Excellent communication skills and professional phone manner

• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
