This is a

Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
Position Profile: As Clinical Nurse Manager you will be responsible for the coordination, leadership and supervision of staff and services within your remit. The role contributes to the development and monitoring of standards of nursing practice, initiates quality improvement practices and implements changes and improvements for the service. The position also provides clinical and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence-based care is delivered to consumers and coordinates the day-to-day operations of Next Step clinical services.
The Clinical Nurse Manager practices within their scope of practice, considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart. Maintains a consumer case load within an Integrated Service Delivery Model of Care. Promotes and develops effective working relationships with external agencies.
In undertaking the role of this position, the occupant will need to recognise that there is a commitment to focusing on the needs of the individual, their families, carers or advocates working in partnership for better alcohol and other drug and mental health outcomes.
The successful candidate may be required to work at other Integrated Clinical Service sites based on operational needs.
