An exciting opportunity exists for a recently Fellowed General Practitioner to become the founding GP of a new veteran-focused healthcare service in Rockingham, Western Australia.

This role offers the rare opportunity to combine the security of an established patient base with the chance to help shape a new model of care dedicated to veterans, current serving members and their families.

Unlike many new clinic opportunities, you will not be expected to build a patient list from scratch. Our host medical centre has an established patient base and significant demand, allowing vacant appointment slots to be filled while the veteran health service continues to grow.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused GP who is looking for more than a standard consulting role.

You will become a key part of a growing healthcare service focused on delivering high-quality, relationship-based care to veterans and the broader community.

The role offers a balanced mix of:

• Veteran healthcare 

• Family medicine 

• Chronic disease management 

• Men's health 

• Mental health 

• Preventative healthcare 

• Musculoskeletal medicine 

• General practice consultations

Remuneration

Remuneration will be tailored to attract the right candidate.

About You

You will:

• Hold unrestricted AHPRA registration 

• Hold Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM 

• Be passionate about providing excellent patient care 

• Enjoy building long-term patient relationships 

• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills 

• Work well within a multidisciplinary environment 

• Be interested in helping build and shape a growing healthcare service 

Previous experience with DVA patients is not essential. Training and support will be provided.
