Lupin Pty Ltd is a family-run agricultural business based in Varley, Western Australia, specialising in broadacre cropping operations including lupin, wheat, canola, and barley production. The business operates year-round across all aspects of the cropping cycle, from seeding and spraying through to harvesting and post-harvest activities.

About the Role

We are seeking full-time Agricultural Mobile Plant Operators – MULTIPLE POSITIONS-  to join our team in Varley WA. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of large-scale agricultural machinery and broadacre farming equipment to support all phases of the cropping cycle.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Operation of large-scale machinery and broadacre farming equipment, including tractor-drawn plant, self-propelled sprayers, and combine harvesters
• Assist with preparation and positioning of plant for the implementation of each part of the cropping cycle
• Assist in all aspects of farm maintenance, including clearing laneways, catchments, and management of remnant vegetation
• Assist with servicing and minor repairs or fabrications of machinery and grain storage facilities, in alignment with the delivery of cropping operations
• Input data in record keeping systems across rainfall, paddock, plant, and machinery
• Supply reports on stock levels of cropping inputs on hand, including fuel, oil, fertiliser, and chemicals used during planting operations
• Provide training and supervision of seasonal and casual staff and contractors in a manner that ensures compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

Skills and Experience Required

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in agricultural plant operation or an equivalent role
• Knowledge of agricultural machinery, chemicals, and use of farming equipment
• Understanding of controlled traffic farming, including experience with Greenstar technology
• Good computer literacy and ability to use farming programs and record keeping systems
• Driver's licence required; HC/MC licence preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Willingness to work in a regional and remote location
• English language proficiency required
