Building and Maintenance Supervisor

Premier Services Australia Pty Ltd is a rapidly growing commercial and strata maintenance company servicing Perth metropolitan areas. We provide building maintenance, repairs, roofing, carpentry, painting, waterproofing, ceiling works, and project services to property managers, strata managers, commercial clients and government organisations.

We are seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Supervisor to take ownership of our in-house maintenance team and help drive the next stage of our growth.

This is a senior leadership role suited to someone who enjoys managing people, solving problems, planning works, and ensuring jobs are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

You will be responsible for overseeing our in-house trades team and coordinating maintenance and repair works across a wide range of commercial and strata properties.

• Lead and manage our in-house trades team.

• Schedule labour and allocate resources effectively.

• Attend site inspections and scope upcoming works.

• Organise materials, plant and equipment.

• Coordinate subcontractors when required.

• Ensure jobs are completed safely, on time and to budget.

• Conduct quality control inspections and site audits.

• Assist with developing scopes of work and quotations.

• Liaise with clients, property managers and suppliers.

• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

• Provide technical support and guidance to trades staff.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.

You are a natural leader with strong building maintenance knowledge and the ability to keep projects moving.

• Previous experience managing tradespeople or maintenance teams.

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience managing tradespeople or maintenance teams is required.

• Strong understanding of building maintenance and construction.

• Experience scheduling works and coordinating resources.

• Ability to scope and plan maintenance projects.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Strong problem-solving ability.

• Current WA Driver's Licence.

• White Card.

• Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with valid work rights.

• Trade qualification (Carpentry, Roofing, Building Maintenance or similar).

• Experience working with strata, commercial or property management clients.

• Quoting and estimating experience.

• Knowledge of construction safety requirements and compliance.

• Fully maintained company vehicle.
