Job Description:
Mechanical Engineering Technician
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team at Trinity Integrated Services located at 210 Barrington Street, Bibra Lake, WA, 6163. The position is full time, 38 hours per week. For the successful candidate a salary of $90k-$120k per annum + superannuation will be offered.
Responsibilities
Developing designs, drawings, and plans for mechanical engineering projects.
Supporting the design process of mechanical systems and selecting appropriate tools and equipment.
Assembling and installing new or modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools, controls, and systems.
Estimating the material costs, quantities, and machinery requirements.
Leading and conducting field and lab tests.
Gathering and analyzing data, performing complex calculations, and preparing relevant diagrams.
Inspecting and evaluating the condition of mechanical equipment, pumps, piping, tanks, material handling systems, and rotating machinery.
Reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, datasheets, and technical submissions for accuracy.
Contributing mechanical expertise to feasibility studies, project estimates, and constructability reviews.
Ensuring all mechanical engineering work aligns with Australian Standards, site specifications, and safety regulations.
Skills and Experience:
Relevant qualifications
2-3 years of experience in a similar role
