Electrical Engineer

Based in the northern suburbs, our client is a Western Australian-owned and operated multi-disciplinary engineering contractor, specialising in water infrastructure. They excel in electrical and controls design, switchboard manufacturing, control/SCADA systems, and electrical installations. This senior role drives the full project lifecycle : From concept and detailed design through to construction support and commissioning. You’ll be working with a great team and have the opportunity to utilise your mentoring and management skills to take them to the next level. This is a fantastic opportunity for not just an experience Electrical Engineer, but also for a passionate manager and innovator. Key Responsibilities of this varied and rewarding role include : Supervise and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians, fostering professional development. Undertake the role of Design Manager, reviewing design outputs for conformity to customer requirements, standards, time, and cost constraints. Mentor, coach, and produce design guides and technical notes to allow team members to leverage expertise. Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, ensuring budgets and schedules are met. Provide technical leadership to the electrical team to deliver high-quality designs and ensure client satisfaction. To really excel in this role, you’ll require : A degree in electrical engineering or a related field from a recognized institution. Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status with Engineers Australia Advanced communication, interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
