Electrical Engineer - Testing, Commissioning and Maintenance
Salary $80,000 - $135,000 + Applicable Superannuation – Commensurate with Skill and Work Experience.

About the Role
Electrical Engineer - Testing, Commissioning, and Maintenance [SCADA and Industrial Automation experience will be considered favourably]
Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week
Sigma Power Services requires an Electrical Engineer - Testing, Commissioning, and Maintenance.

Task & responsibilities
- Conduct testing and commissioning of HV, EHV, and LV electrical networks.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Configure and test protection relays, including advanced protection and control relays.
- Test and maintain circuit breakers, transformers and other critical electrical components.
- Assist with SCADA system testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and integration activities.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Participate in site works and provide premium services on location.
- Develop and review primary and secondary electrical design requirements.
Qualification & experience
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field and at least a minimum of 1 to 3 years of work experience after obtaining relevant formal qualifications.
Experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems is essential.
SCADA, PLC, industrial automation, renewable energy or substation experience will be highly regarded.
