We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our growing service division, manage a team of technicians and engineers, and drive exceptional customer outcomes across our portfolio of maintenance and service contracts.

Based on the provided position description, the role is responsible for ensuring Leopard Controls delivers high-quality services while optimising efficiency, productivity, customer satisfaction and team performance.
About the RoleReporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with the Engineering Manager, Service Coordinator and Project Teams, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service division.
You will oversee:
Service delivery and customer satisfaction
Service technician leadership and development
Maintenance contract performance
Service quoting and invoicing
Technical support and troubleshooting
Client relationship management
Resource planning and workforce utilisation
Continuous improvement initiatives
Operational and financial performance of the service division
Lead, mentor and develop a team of BMS Service Technicians.
Conduct performance reviews and set team KPIs.
Improve service delivery processes and operational efficiency.
Manage workload planning in conjunction with the Service Coordinator.
Drive a strong safety and compliance culture.
Build and maintain strong relationships with facility managers, contractors and key stakeholders.
Attend client service meetings and reviews.
Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Provide technical guidance and support to service technicians.
Assist with fault finding and complex technical issues.
Review service reports and recommend improvements and opportunities.
Support maintenance contract delivery and lifecycle asset management.
Prepare and approve service quotations.
Manage maintenance contract submissions.
Review technician timesheets, expenses and purchasing approvals.
Ensure timely invoicing of completed service and maintenance works.
Monitor divisional productivity and financial performance.
We are seeking someone with strong practical experience in Building Automation and Smart Building technologies, including:
EssentialBuilding Management Systems (BMS)
HVAC Controls
Mechanical Services Integration
BACnet, Modbus and IP Networks
Service and Maintenance Contract Management
Technical Team Leadership
Tridium Niagara N4 Certification and Experience
Energy Management Systems (EMS)
Distech Controls
Automated Logic
Metering & Energy Analytics Platforms
Remote Monitoring & Cloud-Based Building Platforms
Minimum 5 years' experience within the BMS / Building Automation industry.
Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and controls.
Demonstrated experience leading technical teams.
Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and control strategies.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets, quotes and service delivery.
