Electrical Design Engineer – Telecommunications

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our Critical Infrastructure – Telecommunications (Aura) team.

You’ll play a key role across the full project lifecycle, supporting the design and delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects within a multidisciplinary team environment.

This role is initially based full-time in our Perth CBD office, with flexibility available post-probation including up to 3 days working from home and the option to work from our Canning Vale office.

The Role

Develop electrical designs (LV and DC systems)
Prepare bill of quantities and cost estimates
Interpret and work from CAD drawings
Support construction teams during project delivery
Maintain as-built drawings and project data

About You

Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
Experience as an Electrical Engineer or Designer
Strong knowledge of low voltage and DC systems
Experience preparing BOQs and cost estimates
Confident interpreting technical/CAD drawings
Advanced MS Excel skills

Desirable

Experience in telecommunications, infrastructure or renewables
Understanding of Australian standards and compliance
Exposure to Power Apps, MS Access or automation tools
Knowledge of solar, battery or LV/HV systems

You’ll also hold a driver’s licence and be open to occasional travel.
