Our expertise spans Power Systems Studies, Transmission Lines, Substations, Telecommunications, Protection, Control & Automation, Renewable Energy Connections, Mining, and Engineering, Protection Panel Design and Installation, 3D Design and Manufacturing as well as Construction/Management (EPC/M) services. We are seeking highly qualified and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a strong commitment to advancing the company’s ongoing success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES The Civil/Structural Engineer is responsible for the planning, design, and delivery of civil and structural engineering works for electricity transmission and distribution projects. Lead the design and review of civil and structural works for transmission and distribution infrastructure

Provide technical input for gridworks projects from concept through to construction Perform structural analysis, calculations and modelling in accordance with Australian Standards and industry best practice Review designs prepared by other engineers, designers, or draftspersons for accuracy, completeness and compliance

Mentor and provide technical guidance to graduate engineers and design teams Liaise with clients, contractors and regulatory authorities to ensure project requirements are met Participate in project planning, scheduling and risk assessments

Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of internal design procedures, tools, and templates Provide input into project budgets, scope and cost estimation Maintain awareness of emerging trends, technologies and standards relevant to civil and structural engineering

Support proposals and tender submissions with technical expertise Provide technical leadership in resolving complex design and construction issues Assist in business development by supporting client meetings and contributing to technical presentations

Adhere to all company policies and occupational health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment and ensure legal and procedural compliance Assist with any ad hoc duties as required SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

MANDATORY HARD SKILLS Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering or related field A minimum of 8 years of experience in civil/structural engineering

Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing complex projects Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and design codes for civil and structural works Strong understanding of construction methodologies and site practices

SOFT SKILLS Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills Effective communication skills both written and verbal

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Strong leadership and mentoring capability Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
