Senior Mechanical Engineer (x2) – Materials Handling | Iron Ore

Off the back of strong project momentum and several imminent project awards, our client is expanding their Perth-based engineering team and has an immediate need for two experienced Senior Mechanical Engineers.
This is a great opportunity to contribute to a major iron ore Brownfields materials handling project, working within a collaborative team based in their Perth home office.

About the role
Based in the Perth office, you’ll play a key role in the delivery of mechanical engineering scopes across a major iron ore Brownfields project, with a focus on materials handling. The role has an anticipated duration of 12 to 18 months, with occasional site visits required from time to time.

What you’ll bring

  • 7 to 10 years’ experience in the mining sector (candidates with 5+ years will also be considered)
  • Demonstrated materials handling experience, ideally on Brownfields projects
  • A strong background in iron ore projects (highly regarded)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
  • Flexibility to undertake occasional site visits as required
