Our Opportunity
Work Location: Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.
Roster: Monday to Friday
Reporting to the Principal Environmental Geoscientist, this is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Environmental Geochemist to play a key role in supporting Fortescue's operations, studies, environmental approvals, and mine closure activities.
Based in Perth, the role offers flexible working opportunities and occasional travel to the site to support operational and project requirements.
Working within a highly collaborative and technically focused team, you will provide specialist expertise in acid and metalliferous drainage (AMD), reactive ground assessment and geochemical characterisation.
You will partner with stakeholders across the business to identify and manage geochemical risks, influence environmental outcomes, and support sustainable mining practices across our operations.
This role offers the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge to complex environmental challenges while contributing to innovative solutions that support Fortescue's long-term operational and closure objectives.
