Zoom Recruitment is seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant for an immediate start in Hazelmere. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established organisation with potential for ongoing work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Basic repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment
  • General handyman duties (minor repairs, carpentry, light changes, basic non-licensed plumbing)
  • Site cleaning, line marking, and general upkeep
  • Assist with equipment setup and dismantling
  • Manual handling and movement of materials
  • Operate sweeper and assist with waste bin tipping (MHE/bin lifters)
  • Maintain inventory and monitor equipment condition
  • Support contractors and warehouse operations

To Be Successful

  • Forklift licence and C-class manual licence (essential)
  • HR licence, trade certificate (desirable)
  • Maintenance/warehouse experience
  • Mechanical or electrical aptitude
  • Strong OH&S awareness
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Able to pass National Police Clearance and drug & alcohol screen
  • Minimum 2 referees
