Based at our Depot | On-site, team-focused role

From sporting pavilions and libraries to community facilities and new developments, this is a role where you'll never be working on the same thing for long.
You might be the person who gets the call when something needs sorting out.

The one who spots maintenance issues before they become bigger problems. The one who can juggle contractors, priorities and deadlines while still delivering quality outcomes. If that sounds familiar, this could be the opportunity you're looking for.

At the City of Armadale, you'll coordinate the maintenance of a diverse range of community facilities, working with contractors and supporting a small team to keep our buildings safe, functional and well maintained.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coordinating maintenance activities across a diverse range of community facilities
  • Supporting and supervising a small maintenance team
  • Managing contractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard
  • Conducting facility inspections and identifying maintenance priorities
  • Planning preventative maintenance and coordinating repairs
  • Building strong relationships with contractors, service providers and internal stakeholders
  • Supporting purchasing, procurement and contract administration activities
  • Promoting a strong culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement

About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, adaptable and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
You'll bring:
Experience in maintenance, facilities, construction or a similar operational environment
The ability to coordinate multiple jobs and priorities at once
Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with contractors, service providers and internal teams
A practical approach to problem solving and decision making
Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality outcomes

If you're the type of person who likes variety, keeps things moving and takes pride in delivering a great service, you'll fit right in.
