South Coast Baptist College (SCBC) is seeking compassionate, adaptable, and dedicated Secondary Education Assistants to join our Secondary School team.
Permanent positions are available, with a total allocation of 1.0 FTE. Depending on the skills, experience, and availability of successful applicants, this may be filled by one full‑time employee or divided across multiple part‑time appointments.
This rewarding opportunity supports students across Years 7–12, assisting them to engage confidently in their learning, develop independence, and achieve their full potential. Working alongside teachers, Learning Support staff, and specialists, you will play an important role in creating inclusive and supportive learning environments where every student can flourish.

About the roleSecondary Education Assistants provide valuable support to students and teachers across a range of learning environments.
Working closely with classroom teachers and Learning Support staff, you will assist students with diverse learning needs, support the implementation of individual learning plans, encourage positive engagement, and contribute to a safe and inclusive educational environment.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people during a significant stage of their educational journey while working within a collaborative and supportive Christian community.
