This is a 6 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026 with possible extension (6 months) and/or permanency.
Caladenia Primary School (PS), located in Canning Vale, opened in 2007 and built its standards on trust, collaboration, quality educational provision and a school wide culture of nurturing and caring for each other in our school and broader community.
Our school caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Caladenia PS has a team of dedicated, skilled teachers supported by a team of professionals that assist in the class and in the Front Office, Library and grounds. Our team of specialist teachers in Music, Visual Arts, Japanese and Physical Education/Health all support the school's focus with high quality teaching and collaboration with all teachers throughout the school.

The RoleWe are actively seeking a physical education teacher with exceptional interpersonal skills, displaying a natural ability to communicate effectively and foster genuine relationships with parents, students, and colleagues. As a physical education teacher, you should promptly establish a positive and inclusive environment, setting high expectations and cultivating a growth mindset, while nurturing students' social and emotional development.
Ideally you will exhibit exemplary teaching skills, with a strong motivation to excel, and a commitment to delivering best practices. The capacity to excel in an environment characterised by whole-school connected practice, collaborative team structures, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth is highly valued.
As a member of our team, you should leverage high-impact teaching strategies and showcase experience in designing and delivering engaging programs. An understanding of differentiation to meet diverse student needs is highly valued, along with proficiency in utilising various assessment tools to inform progress, provide constructive feedback, and guide future planning.
