This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Part-Time (0.5FTE) appointment for 6 or 12 months.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 15/10/2026.
Salary: MP Year 1-7 $155,932 to $208,619 p.a. (inclusive of base salary, 12% superannuation and professional development allowance at 3 September 2026)
Position Profile: Medical Education serves a unique position within Royal Perth Hospital and provides valuable insight into both the framework and workings of a metropolitan teaching hospital. The Medical Student Education Registrar (Medical) is responsible for the orientation of medical students on placement and develops and implements strategies to improve the quality of clinical teaching and supervision within departments within RPBG. The Medical Student Education Registrar (Medical) works to enhance the learning experiences of medical students rotating through their clinical placements at RPBG and provides teaching related to their area of clinical practice. This position works collaboratively with the Medical Student Education Registrar (Surgical).
