Casual Qualified Early Childhood Educator (Play Leader)

Join the Shire of Mundaring and play a valued role in supporting families and young children within our community. We are seeking enthusiastic and qualified Early Childhood Educators (Play Leaders) to deliver engaging, inclusive and developmentally appropriate playgroup programs at our Child and Parent Centres located in Middle Swan and Clayton View.

Working as part of our Family, Children and Youth team, you will plan and facilitate play-based learning experiences aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), while building strong, supportive relationships with children, parents and caregivers. This role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood development, community connection and creating welcoming, inclusive spaces for families.

 About You

• experience delivering early childhood programs

• strong communication and family engagement skills

• knowledge of child development and EYLF

• commitment to child safety and inclusion.

 Requirements

• Diploma in Early Education and Care or progress toward ECEC or Allied Health degree

• Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate

• WA Driver’s Licence.

An hourly rate of $41.29 per hour is offered for this position.
