As a Senior Educator at Goodstart, you'll take charge of your own room, leading a team of dedicated Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs. You'll collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve our teaching practices. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures that every learning experience is tailored to meet the needs of all children.

About Goodstart East Perth

Prime Location – We’re located at 3 Nelson Avenue, East Perth, just minutes from Perth city! Perfect for a pre-shift coffee or quick city errand. We’re well-connected, with bus access nearby, and offer free onsite parking—making commuting convenient no matter how you travel.

Centre Overview – We are a 70-place centre with a warm, community feel. While this role is not attached to a specific room, you’ll be working across the service and supporting different age groups—ideal for someone who enjoys variety and flexibility in their day!

Flexible Roster – Our centre operates on a rotational shift pattern, offering flexibility and balance. Programming time is scheduled into the rotation, ensuring educators have the time and space to plan thoughtfully and reflectively.

You’ll Need

• Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Current Western Australian Working with Children Check
