At ERGT, we’re not your typical training organisation. We’re a purpose-driven, values-led team focused on building capability, confidence, and safer outcomes across high-risk industries.

We believe in hands-on learning, strong team culture, and creating real impact for our people and the clients we support.

Think realistic scenarios, teamwork, problem-solving, and plenty of learning by doing.

BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training)

This is where serious skills meet high-energy, practical training.

BOSIET is all about getting people out of their seats and into action. Building confidence in environments that simulate real offshore emergencies.

As a Trainer, you’ll guide participants through:

  • Fast-paced safety and emergency scenarios

  • Helicopter Safety & Underwater Escape Training (HUET) using CA-EBS

  • Sea survival activities - life rafts, teamwork challenges & problem-solving

  • Offshore safety induction

  • Basic firefighting & smoke escape techniques

  • First aid in offshore environments

  • Emergency escape procedures (ECHUTE)

This is a dynamic, physical and highly rewarding role.

You’ll see confidence grow in real time as participants realise they can handle high-pressure situations - and that’s what makes it so fun to train.

From day one, you’ll be supported by a trainer-focused development program, including:

  • A structured development plan

  • Ongoing support throughout your first six months

  • Guidance from experienced trainers - you'll never be expected to figure it out on your own

About You:

You’re someone who:

  • Builds rapport quickly and brings energy into a room

  • Communicates clearly and confidently

  • Genuinely wants others to succeed

  • Thrives in hands-on, dynamic environments

No offshore or maritime experience? No problem.
We can teach the technical skills. What matters most is your attitude, authenticity, and impact on others.

What You'll Bring:

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
(or willingness to obtain - ERGT can support the right person)

  • A passion for training, coaching, and developing others

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A values-led mindset

  • Adaptability, professionalism, and a positive attitude

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

  • HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid

  • Minimum Open Water Certification
(ERGT will support progression to Rescue-level certification)
