About the role

The role of our Project Scheduler is to create and maintain the project schedule on behalf of the Project Managers, in collaboration with the project team. Assisting the Program Manager to continuously improve, mature and extend the PMO services in-line with changing business needs.

The position involves supporting large-scale complex program/s scheduling activities, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, and budget while driving continuous improvement in systems and processes. The Project Scheduler will actively communicate and collaborate within and beyond their functional area to secure alignment, resolve challenges, and gain cooperation on all matters relating to the programs schedule.

As a project scheduling SME, your tasks may include but not be limited to producing work breakdown structures, maintaining schedule integrity through constant review and alignment with scope changes and variances, assisting in resource forecasting and reviewing processes and procedures to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

About you

To be successful in this role and to best leverage the opportunities provided by L3Harris, some skills & experience ideal applicants will bring include;

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or significant scheduling experience.

  • Familiarity with Earned Value performance management methods

  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and management skills

  • Defence Industry experience preferred
