Qetra is a Western Australian multi-disciplinary contractor, providing services to the resources, energy, and infrastructure industries. seamless, end-to-end approach to fabrication, assembly, and construction projects.
Due to ongoing expansion and pipeline of work, Qetra are seeking motivated Project Engineer's to join the team in delivering fabrication, assembly and construction projects.
Roles:
SMP Project Engineer
FIFO 2:1
Pilbara based process plant SMP construction package
Duties include:
Interpretation of drawings and developing take-offs
Problem solving technical and project issues
Management of procurement and subcontractors
Develop, review and submission of project documentation and MDR
Monitor and report on cost control, progress, quality, safety
Development and assessment of tender packages
Manage scope creep and variations

Experience across a wide range of multi-disciplinary small to medium sized projects – including civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation
Experience taking projects through various phases of fabrication, assembly, and construction
Work closely with management and have direct input in how projects are executed
Qetra has a head office in West Perth and fabrication workshop in Neerabup. It has a strong pipeline of works in Perth, the goldfields, Pilbara and more.
Required:
Current C class WA license
Strong capability in Microsoft Office and Excel
Strong technical understanding of structural, mechanical, and piping works
Excellent communication skills
Degree qualified
3 years industry experience in fabrication or construction for the resources and/or energy industries
Clear understanding of Australian Standards
Desired:
Experience with scheduling in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6
5+ years industry experience
