Objective:
The Projects Coordinator is responsible for supporting business growth initiatives by coordinating projects, managing client and stakeholder communications, assisting with tender and proposal preparation, and ensuring the smooth execution of business development activities.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Essential
•Mandatory requirement - Demonstrated experience in business development activities
•Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Project Management and Finance or Engineering.
•3-7 years’ experience in a project coordination, project management, or similar role.
•Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
•Experience using CRM systems and project management tools.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Technical Background
•Background in finance, engineering, property or a related discipline.
•Exposure to development projects.
•Solid understanding of financial concepts, with the ability to follow and contribute to commercial discussions. (no requirement for technical modelling)
Key Responsibilities
Business Development Support
•Identify and monitor potential business opportunities, tenders, and market trends.
•Assist in preparing business proposals and presentations.
•Coordinate documentation required for new business opportunities and client submissions.
•Support the development and implementation of business growth strategies.
Project Coordination
•Coordinate business development projects from initiation through completion.
•Develop project schedules, timelines, and action plans.
•Monitor progress against project milestones and deadlines.
•Ensure project documentation is accurate, current, and properly maintained.
•Track project deliverables and report status updates to management.
•Coordinate meetings, presentations, and follow-up actions.
Market Research & Analysis
•Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
•Prepare market intelligence reports and recommendations.
•Analyse project and business performance data to identify growth opportunities.
Administrative & Reporting
•Prepare regular reports on project status, business development progress, and performance metrics.
•Prepare regular updates and briefings for the finance and investment team on key actions items and project status.
•Maintain filing systems and records for proposals, contracts, and project documentation.
•Assist with budgeting and cost tracking for development initiatives.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
•Ensure all project and business development activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
•Support continuous improvement initiatives across project coordination processes.
