About the Role
We are seeking a driven General Manager to provide overall leadership and direction to Perth Medics Inc.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for translating strategy into operational success, driving business growth, ensuring strong governance, and fostering a positive, high-performing organisational culture.
In this role, success will be demonstrated through strengthening governance, supporting sustainable growth, developing our people and volunteers, and ensuring Perth Medics continues to deliver high-quality event medical services across Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Lead organisational strategy, operations, and business development initiatives
Ensure governance, compliance, and risk management practices
Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
Lead, support, and develop the leadership team, promoting continuous improvement and professional development
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to support organisational growth
Drive financial sustainability and organisational performance
Key Selection Criteria
Proven experience in senior leadership and organisational management
Demonstrated governance experience including Board reporting, policy oversight and organisational compliance
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams
Experience leading organisational growth, change management or service expansion
Experience within not-for-profit, health, or pre-hospital services sectors (desirable)
Experience working with, mentoring, or managing a volunteer workforce (desirable)
