About the Role

We are seeking a driven General Manager to provide overall leadership and direction to Perth Medics Inc.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for translating strategy into operational success, driving business growth, ensuring strong governance, and fostering a positive, high-performing organisational culture.

In this role, success will be demonstrated through strengthening governance, supporting sustainable growth, developing our people and volunteers, and ensuring Perth Medics continues to deliver high-quality event medical services across Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead organisational strategy, operations, and business development initiatives

  • Ensure governance, compliance, and risk management practices

  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting

  • Lead, support, and develop the leadership team, promoting continuous improvement and professional development

  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to support organisational growth

  • Drive financial sustainability and organisational performance

Key Selection Criteria

  • Proven experience in senior leadership and organisational management

  • Demonstrated governance experience including Board reporting, policy oversight and organisational compliance

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams

  • Experience leading organisational growth, change management or service expansion

  • Experience within not-for-profit, health, or pre-hospital services sectors (desirable)

  • Experience working with, mentoring, or managing a volunteer workforce (desirable)
