About The Role
Our Fortuna Insurance Services team is growing and is now seeking an experienced Insurance Broker for the position of Account Executive to provide high-quality broking support for our insurance broking division. This role is ideal for a knowledgeable insurance broking professional who is proactive, client-focused and committed to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Providing professional advice to clients across various sectors on insurance products, coverage options, and risk management
Preparing and presenting insurance quotations, renewals and reports
Liaising with underwriters and insurers to negotiate competitive terms
Claims management and providing technical broking support
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
Maintaining accurate client records and documentation using broking systems
Responding to client enquiries professionally and within agreed service standards
Identifying process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Managing and growing a portfolio of insurance clients
Supporting business development through existing client interactions and identifying new opportunities
Key Skills & Experience
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to further develop their career in Insurance Broking.
Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification
Previous experience within the insurance broking industry (minimum 3 years and desirable 5 years)
Experience in broking software (Winbeat, Insight or similar) (Insight experience preferred)
Diploma or higher qualification
Excellent customer service skills and thorough product knowledge
A proactive, can-do attitude with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills
Ability to explain the claims process clearly to clients
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly
