About The Role

Our Fortuna Insurance Services team is growing and is now seeking an experienced Insurance Broker for the position of Account Executive to provide high-quality broking support for our insurance broking division. This role is ideal for a knowledgeable insurance broking professional who is proactive, client-focused and committed to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing professional advice to clients across various sectors on insurance products, coverage options, and risk management

  • Preparing and presenting insurance quotations, renewals and reports

  • Liaising with underwriters and insurers to negotiate competitive terms

  • Claims management and providing technical broking support

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies

  • Maintaining accurate client records and documentation using broking systems

  • Responding to client enquiries professionally and within agreed service standards

  • Identifying process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

  • Managing and growing a portfolio of insurance clients

  • Supporting business development through existing client interactions and identifying new opportunities

Key Skills & Experience

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to further develop their career in Insurance Broking.

  • Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification

  • Previous experience within the insurance broking industry (minimum 3 years and desirable 5 years)

  • Experience in broking software (Winbeat, Insight or similar) (Insight experience preferred)

  • Diploma or higher qualification

  • Excellent customer service skills and thorough product knowledge

  • A proactive, can-do attitude with high attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to explain the claims process clearly to clients

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly
