Dunlop Tyre Australia supplies Dunlop & Falken brand tyres to the Australian replacement market. This established business in Australia is a subsidiary of Sumitomo Rubber Industries based in Japan with more than a century of trading history and a presence in most countries around the world.

With expansion plans now in place, the business is currently looking for preferably an experienced Customer Service Representative with Internal Sales knowledge, to be part of this growing team.

Position Purpose

The Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative is responsible for focusing on customer enquiries, generating sales opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring high levels of service. This role supports both external customers and internal teams through effective communication, product knowledge, and problem-solving.

Dunlop Tyre Australia is the leading wholesaler of the Dunlop & Falken brand tyres to the Australian market.

No previous tyre or automotive industry experience is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Handle incoming calls, enquiries, and service requests professionally.

• Provide accurate and complete product and service information.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through open communication.

• Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner and follow up to ensure satisfaction.

• Document all customer interactions and maintain accurate records.

• Follow communication guidelines, service policies, and escalation procedures

Sales & Lead Management

• Make outbound calls to customers and prospects, follow up on leads, and maintain regular contact.

• Identify customer needs and convert them into sales opportunities.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and competitor offerings.

• Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets.

Internal Customer Support

• Provide support to internal teams using positive communication, empathy, and diplomacy.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues quickly and effectively.

• Follow up on internal requests and contribute to a positive team environment.

  • Full CRM system training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in customer service / inside sales, or call-center roles (preferable)

• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales or service targets

Position Objective

To provide exceptional customer service, support organisational sales goals, and maintain strong customer and internal relationships while ensuring a positive and seamless customer experience

On Offer

We are offering a permanent part-time position with an above award wage and long-term career prospects in a growing business.

Our roster is Monday to Friday - Fixed 12.00pm to 4.00pm.

Minimum 20-hour week.

Must have full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available)

Renumeration

Renumeration will be offered for the successful applicant based on experience and suitability to the role. In return, we offer stable employment and a clean and safe work environment. Successful completion of probation period will be rewarded with an increase in hourly rate.
