Account Manager

About the role

Onsite has an opportunity for a motivated & capable Account Manager to join our team in Perth North Office (Wangara). 

Reporting to the Sales & Business Development Manager and working closely with the branch team, you will be responsible for maintaining & growing existing accounts and winning new business within your assigned portfolio / territory.

In this role you will: -

• Manage & grow the existing customer base
• Identify and convert new sales opportunities aligned with business sales plans
• Conduct regular cold calling throughout assigned territory, increasing awareness of Onsite’s product range & establishing yourself as the lead point of contact
• Build & strengthen relationships with existing & potential customers, attending customer events, trade shows & conferences 
• Prepare quotes for hire & support tender submissions
• Communicate effectively with branch team to support sales activity & ensure exceptional customer service is delivered
• Maintain accurate client data in CRM system 

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Sales experience in hire/capital equipment/industrial or related industry
• Ability & willingness to cold call, in person & by phone
• Record of success in attracting & retaining new business
• Capacity to work safely & autonomously in the field
• Resilience & the ability to overcome obstacles & find solutions
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution & relationship building skills
