Your New Role
We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Compliance Officer to engage with key stakeholders and champion compliance across the business. Your role will be to assist in the compliance function of our broking business and be responsible for monitoring and overseeing AFG Member compliance.
In this role you will coach and train employees and brokers, as well as:
Complete Broker Assurance Reviews of loan files.
Make recommendations and implement changes when needed to continually improve the compliance function.
Assist in the development of training and broker materials.
Compliance reporting on completed Broker Assurance Reviews.
Who Are You
You will have a background in finance, brokerage, banking or financial planning, ideally with compliance, risk management and audit experience gained in a lending environment. You will be a person of integrity with a customer-focused approach and a willingness to learn. A high level of attention to detail will be required, with the ability to communicate effectively. You will also have:
Consumer lending experience or knowledge of NCCP and how it is applied in practice.
Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach to providing feedback and recommendations.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to effectively communicate.
A positive "can do" attitude, willing to use own initiative.
