About The Role We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Receptionist or Administration Officer with experience in the medical industry to join us on a part time basis with a minimum 40 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday flexible roster, no on call or public holidays. Duties And Responsibilities This role will see you working collaboratively with both the administrative and clinical teams, as well as liaising with our 3 Support Offices. You will: Ensure a high level of patient and visitor care, acting as the first point of contact for the hospitalEnsure all admission and discharge documentation is accurately recordedEnsure all patient accounts are invoiced, receipted and reconciledManage theatre bookings and ensure lists are distributed accordinglyLiaise with Health Funds and complete checksPromote a culture of continuous improvement, safety and excellence across all areas of the hospital About You You have a genuine passion for providing world-class customer service and patient care, and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have: Experience in an administrative role within a medical, healthcare or hospital settingA high level of computer / technical skills, particularly Microsoft Office and Patient Management SoftwareExperience in FYDO or SimDay desirable but not essentialAn understanding of the Private Health Insurance systemAbility to develop and maintain strong working relationships with patients, doctors and staffSolid time management, organisational and communication skillsAbility to work flexible hours throughout the Monday to Friday roster Culture And Benefits At Nexus, caring for our people, patients and employees is at the centre of everything we do.
