The Stirling Business Association (SBA) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting, connecting and advocating for micro and small businesses across the City of Stirling and surrounding areas. Through networking events, business education, advocacy and member support, we help local businesses grow and thrive.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Administration Assistant to join our team full-time. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a small team environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional experiences for members, stakeholders and event attendees.
About the RoleAs the Administration Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our members and visitors while providing administrative and operational support across the organisation. You will play a key role in maintaining the centre, updating our social media presence and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office. This a busy role within a small and supportive team.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage reception and serve as the first point of contact for members, visitors and stakeholders
Provide general administrative support to the CEO and wider team
Support event setup, registration management and attendee communications
Create and schedule social media content across multiple platforms
Maintain databases, membership records and event registrations
Prepare documents, reports and correspondence as required
Assist with office administration and operational tasks
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous administration experience
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A professional and friendly customer service approach
Confidence using Microsoft Office and social media platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, with training provided for other systems
The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
Experience coordinating events or functions
Experience with Canva, M365 and MailChimp
Understanding of the small business or not-for-profit sector
Salary package of $50,000 – $65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
