We provide taxation, accounting and business advisory services to a diverse range of individuals and businesses across Australia.We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Tax Accountant to join our expanding team.This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or junior accountant looking to develop their career in public practice while receiving mentoring and support from experienced professionals.The RoleAs a Junior Tax Accountant, you will work closely with senior accountants and gain exposure to a broad range of taxation and accounting matters.Your responsibilities will include:Preparing BAS and IAS lodgementsPreparing financial statements and income tax returns for various entity types, including individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFsAssisting with taxation compliance and advisory mattersLiaising directly with clients and responding to queriesManaging a portfolio of clients under supervisionPerforming reconciliations and maintaining accurate accounting recordsProviding exceptional client service and maintaining strong client relationshipsWorking closely with senior team members and receiving ongoing mentoring and trainingThe Ideal CandidateTo be successful in this role, you will possess:A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline from an Australian universityRecent graduates are encouraged to applyPrevious experience in an Australian accounting firm will be highly regardedStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent attention to detail and reconciliation skillsA proactive, reliable and professional attitudeThe ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesA commitment to delivering high-quality client serviceCurrently studying or willing to commence CA or CPA studiesFull working rights in Australia (Permanent Residency preferred but not essential)Mandarin language skills are highly regarded but not essentialWhat We OfferOngoing mentoring and professional developmentCPA/CA study supportExposure to a broad range of clients and industriesCareer progression opportunities within a growing firmFriendly and supportive team environmentConvenient Perth CBD locationHow to ApplyPlease submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.Applications should be sent to:[email protected] shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
