We are a well-established boutique accounting firm seeking a Junior/Intermediate Tax & Business Services Accountant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients and wants exposure to a broad range of taxation and business advisory services.

About the Role

Working alongside experienced accountants, you will be involved in:

• Preparation of individual, company, trust and partnership tax returns

• Preparation of financial statements and working papers

• Preparation of BAS, IAS and GST compliance obligations

• Assisting with tax planning and business advisory engagements

• Liaising directly with clients and the ATO

• Assisting with bookkeeping and accounting software support where required

• Supporting senior team members with a diverse range of client matters

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has 1–4 years' experience in public practice

• Has strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Enjoys building relationships with clients and colleagues

• Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen

Preference will be given to candidates who:

• Hold or are working towards an accounting degree

• Is studying or intends to undertake CA or CPA qualifications

• Is proficient with Xero and BGL accounting software
