About our role:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer in a hybrid role to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in delivering accurate and timely financial support.
- Process high volumes of supplier invoices with accuracy and efficiency
- Review, investigate, and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items
- Ensure all payments are processed in line with company policies and procedures
- Maintain and update supplier master data to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Process fortnightly payroll for 100+ employees within the accounting system
- Assist with month-end close, EOFY activities, and audit requirements
- Provide general support to the finance team, including ad-hoc tasks as required
What You’ll Bring: - Minimum 3 years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment.
- Proven payroll processing experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, “can-do” attitude.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Experience with Pronto and Xero accounting systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug screening
- Ability to provide a national police certificate

About us: Iron Mine Contracting (IMC) was formed to provide Civil, Mining, Crushing and Screening and Indigenous partnering opportunities to the West Australian market.
IMC and its associated indigenous Joint Venture partners have been delivering projects to Tier 1 Resource clients including Rio Tinto, Woodside Petroleum, Northern Star Resources Fortescue, Roy Hill, Liontown Resources and Newcrest Mining amongst others since 2013.
