Lead the daily rhythm of Group Finance, managing transactions, delivering smooth month-ends, and ensuring rock-solid reconciliations.

To be part of the change this role will: 

  • Responsible for day-to-day transactional accounting across Group entities, including reconciliations, BAS / GST returns, and ABS reporting.
  • Deliver month-end accounting across Group entities, including accruals, credit cards, prepayments, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and support key tax compliance activities, including income tax, TPAR, FBT and R&D.
  • Support budgeting, reforecasting, and the preparation of month-end management and board reporting.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements and coordinate audit requirements, liaising with internal and external auditors.
  • Develop and maintain policies, processes and procedures, while identifying and driving process improvement initiatives.
  • Support shareholder (QIC) reporting requirements and contribute to ad hoc tasks as needed.

BE this person

As part of the solution, you will have:

  • Business / Commerce degree or similar
  • Working towards, or have CA / CPA qualifications
  • >3 years postgraduate experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively supporting various teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal relationship building skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Ability to adapt to new software
  • High attention to detail
