Senior Accountant

Join a trusted, WA owned, private business involved in a range of resources and construction projects across the state!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare with monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare and post journals, accruals, bank recs and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed assets registers.
• Statutory financial reporting requirements and ASIC reporting deliverables.
• Assist with consolidation of multiple group entities.
• Assist with preparation of half-year and year-end deliverables.
• Ad hoc Accounts Payable and Payroll management.
• Support ongoing process improvement initiatives across the finance function.
• Assist with external audit requests and preparation of supporting documentation.

Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Commerce.
• CA or CPA qualified.
• 5-8 years accounting experience in commercial finance positions.
• Advanced MS Exl experience.
• Experience with Xero is an advantage.
• Experience with project environment also desirable.
